This mosque is built in private initiative in a serene and peaceful village to serve the community. Considering the surrounding, the scale for the mosque was kept on the smaller side, hence the single height. Almost 200 people can say their prayer at a time. The design idea is generated from pure rectangular shape. The height and uninterrupted rectangular interior space bring out the purity of the space. Local bricks are used in the facade. The deep red of the brick brings about a mellow contrast to the surrounding greenery of the area. The floors and the paving are made of stone. The marble floor keep it cool even during the blistering summer heat waves. The building is more reliant on natural ventilation and cooling. The ambience of the prayer space is enhanced by the skylight.
