Tamabil, Jaflong is a beauty of hidden paradise, filled with adventurous
spots, scenic beauty, mesmerizing landscapes, colorful flora and fauna,
splendid waterfalls, lofty mountain ranges in the border areas, picturesque
dense lush green forests and serene flowing rivers. During the design
process careful attention was given so that it can complement this
context. The resthouse is divided into four connected parts considering the
contour of the hill. Public zone is provided in the road side so that individual
bedroom gets the buffer from the road, and every room gets the scenic
view. The placement and height of the structure was also considered , so
even from the road the view is not blocked. The roofs of lower blocks
become the open space for gathering, sitting and enjoying the nature. One
can enjoy the nature and the surrounding without obstructing others in his
own way from every place of this rest house.
